Country Clubs

Cedar Ridge Country Club   In 1968 famed golf course designer Joe Finger created a new golf course in Tulsa that is now heralded as one of the finest in the nation

Golf Club of Oklahoma   Ranked as one of the top-four courses in Oklahoma by Golf Digest in May 2005, the 7,183-yard par 72 course features rolling terrain, towering oaks and natural bodies of water.

Indian Springs Country Club   Indian Springs Country Club offers a quaint countryside setting located on 450 acres of natural rolling terrain. Two courses meander along dense forest, traverse up, down and around bluffs.

Meadowbrook Country Club   MeadowBrook Country Club Members enjoy access to a private Web Site dedicated to Golf, Special Club Events and Club News.

Oaks Country Club   Oaks Country Club is the second oldest course in Tulsa founded in 1920 from an idea ffrom William Weichel and Walter Ahrens.

Southern Hills Country Club   The famed Southern Hill Country Club website is for Members Only but the legendary golf course has hosted many major championships including both the PGA and the U.S. Open.  In 2007, Tiger Woods was crowned PGA Champion at Southern Hills.

Tulsa Country Club   Tulsa Country Club has hosted numerous tournaments & exhibitions involving top PGA professionals, and holds claim to being one of the top five courses in Oklahoma according to Golf Week Magazine.

Boston District
At the intersection of 18th and South Boston Ave., the Boston District is a tightly packed collection of high quality clubs and restaurants. Mercury Lounge, The Venue, Rehab Lounge, Boston’s, Sax Bar and Vintage 1740 Wine Bar offer a mix of atmosphere and entertainment. 

Brady Arts District   to be renamed in late 2017 to the Tulsa Arts District.  New development in recent years has produced a flourish of attractions, including the bustling nightclubs, restaurants and theaters of the Brady Arts and Blue Dome Districts.

Blue Dome District   Folk’s are starting to take the reemergence of downtown seriously, and the Blue Dome District is becoming the hub of Tulsa’s nightlife. Think Deep Ellum in Dallas, envision Austin’s 6th Street and you’re beginning to get very very thirsty.  

Brookside District   Brookside is perhaps Tulsa’s most popular destination for shopping and nightlife.  There are literally dozens of trendy restaurants, clubs and shopping options.  Spend one evening in this pedestrian friendly neighborhood and you will find yourself coming back again and again.

OK Mozart Festival   In June 1985, the OK MOZART International Festival began with a three-day concert series. Now in its 19th year, OK MOZART continues to bring the best and brightest musicians to our neighbor Bartlesville for over a week of world-class performances. 

Mayfest   Attracting over 250,000 people annually, Mayfest features an array of multi-disciplined arts from dance, music and visual arts. Always one of the major highlights of spring you will not want to miss Mayfest.

Oktoberfest   Tulsa’s Oktoberfest is one of the premier German folk heritage festivals in the United States.

Oklahoma FreeWheel   2006 will mark the 28th anniversary of Oklahoma’s premier bicycle touring event. Plan now to join over a thousand cyclists, support staff, and family members as they gather near the Texas-Oklahoma state line for the trek north to Kansas.

Lakes & Rivers

Ft. Gibson Lake   Approximately 45 minutes east of Tulsa the lake covers close to 22,000 acres of water with approximately 225 miles of shoreline. Grand Lake   About an hour northeast of Tulsa the lake has 46,000 acres of water, ,300 miles of shoreline and is one of only two major lakes in Oklahoma where you can build directly on the waterfront.  Illinois River   Just 70 minutes east of Tulsa the scenic Illinois River offers fun, adventure and break taking beauty as it’s cool, clear waters meander through the Oklahoma Ozark hills providing visitors with dense forests of oak, elm, hickory and cedar. There are many outfitters along the river that provide canoes, kayaks, or rafts, along with shuttle service.

Keystone Lake   On the Arkansas River 15 miles west of downtown Tulsa, this 26,000 acre lake is truly an urban playground. There are 16 recreation areas, 11 boat ramps, miles of sandy beaches, 3 marinas, 2 off-road vehicle areas, 5 short distance trails, a waterfowl refuge, 3 seasonal green tree reservoirs, and thousands of acres of land open to public hunting. Pier 51 Marina

Lake Eufaula   Located about 80 minutes S/SE of Tulsa, Lake Eufaula, with over 600 miles in shoreline and 100,000+ surface acres of water, is the largest lake in Oklahoma. Lake Hudson     Lake Hudson is situated in a natural river valley, resting at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains about 50 minutes east of Tulsa. Often referred to as Grand Lake’s little sister, it has about 12,000 surface acres of water and 200 miles of shoreline surrounded by majestic bluffs, rolling hills and quiet, secluded coves.

Lake Tenkiller   Located about 75 minutes southeast of Tulsa and nestled in the Cookson Hills with its towering rock formations, Tenkiller Lake is fed by the Illinois and the Baron Fork Rivers which have been designated as Oklahoma scenic rivers. BOK Center   A project of Vision 2025, the new 18,000 seat regional events center opened in the Fall of 2008. It  provides a functional, comfortable, and unique venue for events serving Tulsans from every walk of life. At the ground breaking, former Mayor Bill LaFortune predicted this masterpiece of Cesar Pelli will serve for decades as Tulsa’s icon – a point of pride for all of us.

Brady Theatre   The historic Brady Theater, completed in 1914 is a Tulsa tradition and a Midwestern entertainment landmark. A great venue.

Cain’s Ballroom   From the legendary home of Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys Cain’s Ballroom has become one of Tulsa’s most recognizable icons whose reputation is exceeded only by its performances. Got to love it. 

Convention & Visitors Bureau   In Tulsa you will find cowboys and classical ballet. Art Deco and Arena football, rodeos, religion, and rolling hills. Take it all in.

Lorton Performance Center   The Roxana Rózsa and Robert Eugene Lorton Performance Center, located on Gary Place on the east end of Harwell Field, is TU’s showcase facility for the musical and performance arts.

Performing Arts Center for Education   PACE houses the Tulsa Community College’s performing arts programs, along with the Signature Symphony at TCC, a professional orchestra operating under the auspices of Tulsa Community College.

River Parks Authority   Spread along miles of the Arkansas River, River Parks provides some of the metropolitan area’s finest outdoor recreation. During warm weather months, a variety of outdoor events are offered for the public’s enjoyment.

The Mabee Center   One of Tulsa’s premier venues located on the Oral Roberts University campus.

Cox Business Center   The Tulsa Convention Center has hosted every kind of event imaginable from the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, rock concerts to trade shows, political conventions to rodeos, religious rallies to high school graduations.

Tulsa Expo Square   Tulsa Expo Square is home to the Tulsa State Fair, Tulsa Drillers Baseball, Fair Meadows Racetrack, Bells Amusement Park, Big Splash Water Park, The Pavilion Arena and hosts over 400 events annually.

Tulsa Performing Arts Center   Tulsa PAC is the design of Minoru Yamasaki, architect of the World Trade Center. Housing five theatres and a large reception hall it hosts more than a quarter of a million people each year who attend performances from one of Tulsa’s acclaimed arts groups.
